This session helps trustees understand the need to design new facilities and retrofit older facilities using LEED standards and the implications that the Ontario Climate Change Action Plan will have on these designs considering the environment, their functionality, aesthetical values, financial implications, and social responsibility that are required.
Outcomes:
These sessions will assist trustees to assess and advocate for the inclusion of higher environmental standards for their new facilities and retrofitted older facilities even if there are higher costs.
