Early Arrivals Welcome: Coming to Toronto early? Take advantage of your time and grab your badge in Main Lobby of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Then join your fellow early birds for a beverage! Happening on Tuesday, January 30 immediately after the OLA AGM at 5 pm.
Wednesday, January 31
Yoga: Convention centre carpets and heavy publisher catalogues doing a number on your body? Join us at 7:15 am – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (MTCC 105/106 stage area) for yoga and ease into your day with some gentle stretches that will have you springing to your morning sessions! Yoga mats will be provided. No registration required.
All Conference Welcome Party: Some call it networking, some call it an event, call it what you want. We all know what it really is – A PARTY! Come out and join your fellow Super Conferencers for the opening night party on Wednesday, January 31 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss it!

Laughter Yoga: Dont have a yoga mat? No problem, you dont need one. Not very flexible? Thats okay, there are no actual yoga poses involved! Do you like to laugh? Then this fun and energizing session was made for you! Heather Ratz, Assistant Librarian at The Brighton Public Library will lead the group through a session that involves deep breathing, childlike playfulness and plenty of unconditional laughter. Happening Thursday, February 1 at 7:30 am – 8:15 am.
Games Night: Want something fun to do? Come out to game night where you can explore board games and digital games new and old and chat with librarians who incorporate gaming into their teaching. Participation is not mandatory and instead you can just mingle and enjoy the banter between players. Happening Thursday, February 1 from 7 pm – 9 pm.
Super Film Fest: Want to do something social but need to recharge and rest from talking? We feel you, introverts. Come join us just a block away at the gorgeous TIFF Bell Lightbox building for a feature film. Sponsored by REEL Canada.
