Why are you interested in the topic you are presenting?
I think it’s important to recognize that students interpret and communicate in many different ways. Giving students an alternate format for expressing their ideas and concerns about their learning spaces gives us an opportunity to find answers we may not have known we were looking for.

What does “fearless” mean to you?
There’s a line from ALA’s Freedom to Read that has always inspired me to be “fearless”: “It is in the public interest for librarians to make available the widest diversity of views and expressions, including those that are unorthodox, unpopular, or considered dangerous by the majority.”
