Why are you interested in the topic you are presenting?
Librarians are in general an open culture – we tend to collaborate and publish together. But now this tendency is reaching out to academic and the classroom and I find it very interesting. Librarians have a lot to contribute to this conversation!
Collaboration across digital platforms, and across provinces is the only way that large digitziation collections will be available (imho). I’d like to generate ideas and interest in our projects!

What does “fearless” mean to you?
Doing something even though your colleagues wonder whether it’s part of your job description.

What have you read/seen/listened to lately that you would recommend to your audience (something that would help them to learn more about your topic)?
Open: the Philosophy and Practices that are Revolutionizing Education and Science by Rajiv Jhangiani.
I’ve been looking deeply at other digital libraries – DPLA, Europeana, DigitalNZ, OurOntario. How they formed is key information to our process.
