Description:

Long society’’s bastions of intellectual freedom , libraries and universities have recently come under concerted new pressure to limit free expression. Unlike the traditional advocates of censorship, many of the current demands are being made in the name of fighting racism, homophobia, and sexism. This session will explore recent cases and discuss how libraries and universities should respond.
