This session will teach participants how to create accessible documents in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and testing PDFs for accessibility. Participants will also learn about free online tools that can be used for accessibility testing including screen reading software and Chrome plugins.
Outcomes:
– Create accessible documents using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
– Testing PDFs for accessibility
– Learn about free tools available for accessibility testing of LibGuides, Library e-resources, and websites.
– Discover that accessibility isn’t difficult and doesn’t have to be expensive
