The GLAM sector in Canada includes Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums from coast to coast to coast, enhanced by joint initiatives with the performing arts and diverse cultural organizations. Join members of the Ottawa Declaration Working Committee for an engaging panel discussion.

Together, we will:

  • Look in the rear-view mirror: the origin, the mandate and the inspiration for the Ottawa Declaration. Speaker: Dara Price, Director,  Strategic Research and Policy, Library and Archives Canada
  • Consider the current state: a review of recent accomplishments, initiatives and activities, including the second GLAM Symposium in Toronto: Speaker: Vickery Bowles,  City Librarian,  Toronto Public Library
  • Take the long view: a glimpse of the opportunities, ideas and nascent partnerships that further extend the impact of the GLAM sector in Canadian communities. Speaker:  Paul Gilbert, Calliope Consulting
