Description:

Using bite sized eLearning modules, Markham Public Library has been building staff readers’ advisory skills. Learn how this has impacted customer service, improved staff RA engagement, and empowered staff to feel comfortable actively participating in the RA process. This workshop includes an overview of our successes, failures, and best practices.

Outcomes:
1. Increase staff knowledge and confidence in providing RA.
2. Encourage staff development through bite sized eLearning modules.
3. Evaluate staff knowledge to address gaps in their RA skill set.
