Lucy earned an M.A. in 19th century British Fiction. The Marzipan Fruit Basket, a debut collection, was released in June 2017. A Hawk in Winter won a prize in the 2014 International Rubery Short Story Competition. Lucy received the “Writer of Distinction” award from Humber College for her manuscript Eleanor Courtown, about Irish immigrants in 1870s Ontario.
