Why are you interested in the topic you are presenting?
This topic is interesting because it is changing the traditional role of the library. We are no longer passively waiting for materials to be brought to us, we are taking direct action in helping our faculty, staff and students improve their university experience. We can recommend resources, provide easier access to our resources and improve the student experience. It enables us to buy what our users need, see in depth what our faculty need and want in a library and makes us more timely and relevant.
What does “fearless” mean to you?
Fearless to me means moving forward and not knowing what is going to happen, it is taking that leap knowing that things might fail. It is taking a risk and understanding that no matter the outcome you will learn things about yourself you had never thought possible.
