Why are you interested in the topic you are presenting?
Collaboration is a key component in all aspects of our lives. The relationships we build in our careers and communities become the foundation through which we reach common goals and sustain our community organizations. I thrive in meeting new people in a variety of settings, and enjoy watching new relationships develop into fulfilling partnerships. I am passionate about establishing innovative outreach initiatives to reach my clients in different ways, and discovering the sparks that can ignite through interprofessional collaboration.

What does “fearless” mean to you?
Fearless means stepping out of our comfort zones as librarians and being flexible to our clients’ constantly changing needs and work environments. It also means being open to learning about what our clients interests and research areas are, particularly as special librarians. Being fearless means using our expertise as information professionals to re-define what our profession means today, and advocating confidently on behalf of all librarians.
