Why are you interested in the topic you are presenting?
The journal market is financially unsustainable and inequitable. Faculty have considerable power in influencing change in this system – but they are generally not fully aware of the problems! We need to be able to effectively communicate these problems to faculty so that they are allies with libraries in transitioning to a new, more sustainable publishing system.
