Why are you interested in the topic you are presenting?
My mission as a teacher is to get my students to read often and widely. I was left wanting more from a reading challenge for my students and so looked to the adult world for inspiration. CBC Canada Reads became the inspiration for how to expose my students to many different books on a provocative theme. Our remixed challenge, Middle School Reads, has become a social, engaging, and challenging reading journey that has changed our Middle School readers.
