Why are you interested in the topic you are presenting?
Session 1 – Public libraries have a key role to play in supporting the open government movement. Open data also creates many programming and collaboration opportunities with the civic tech communities.
Session 2 – Diversity has always been something I’ve been passionate about. As a staff member who is considered “diverse,” I’ve benefited from great mentors in my professional life. I look forward to sharing my learnings with newer diverse employees looking for career success strategies.
