Ontario libraries websites must conform to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. A common mistake is assuming WCAG can be checked using automated tools when many checkpoints require human evaluation. This session explains manual testing in WCAG and how to do it.

Attendees will be able to complete basic manual checks of web content accessibility and explain why manual checking is necessary.
