The Two Row Wampum describes how Euro and Indigenous can share a river, in two canoes, travel simultaneously, and maintain a non-interference policy. Through an Indigenous Knowledge lens, this Information Policy session will address the social justice core of the 4 As: Assessment, Acquisition, Access and Action in digital collections.
Outcomes:
The participants will leave with an understanding of policy differences through an Indigenous Knowledge Rights Lens. They will consider how to move from collector to Social Activist.
