Traditional Knowledge is an aboriginal understanding of the land and culture which goes back thousands of years and is passed down through experience and Oral teaching. This session will ask the question how First Nations and the National Library network can work together to better protect and save this information.

Outcomes:
To create awareness of traditional knowledge and discuss solutions to oral history capturing and sharing. Generating interest and passion behind traditional knowledge retention and growth may create a movement or committee within the NLA to provide guidance and possibly ownership of the dying form of sharing information..
