Staff in childrens libraries do a great job of crafting programs, collections, and services for our younger patrons. However, we dont always succeed in considering the effect on parents and caregivers. By viewing children’s services through their eyes, staff will be better able meet mandates, build family engagement, improve community (and possibly financial) support, and minimize complaints.
