Major change initiatives within libraries are often the result of organization-wide strategic shifts. Library teams impacted by the strategic change must adapt structures, services, and processes to flourish in this new institutional context. This session examines service transformation with a focus on a change model, action planning, and implementation processes.
Outcomes:
To identify and assess impacts from institutional strategic change. To identify and articulate design considerations in a change management implementation plan, and to adapt and apply a change management model to their own context.
