Description:

Librarians are constantly seeking digital tools that engage their audiences to collaborate, assess, and create, without reducing the processes of learning. This session will explore some of these tools and how they can be used to facilitate learning rather than distract from it. Tools covered will include Mentimeter, Powtoon, Kahoot, and more.

Outcomes:
• Provide participants with an environmental scan of existing digital learning tools
• Provide ranked lists of tools with examples of how to use them in the teaching
• Provide hands on demonstrations of digital learning tools as they can be applied in digital learning
• Leave participants with familiarity and interest in using these tools in their own teaching
