Description:

Youth mental health concerns are on the rise, and libraries are in an ideal position to play a pivotal role in supporting those living with mental health issues. Learn how to build a community of inclusion among both staff and customers with the common goal of positive mental health for all.

Outcomes:
1) Understanding what mental health is.
2) Learn how to develop and maintain positive relationships with the children and youth in your community by recognizing their needs and respecting their diversity.
3) Learn how to collaborate with community partners to develop both training and programming opportunities for library staff as well as the public.
