The Accessibility Directorate will update attendees on accessibility laws that impact Ontario’s libraries. The Directorate will also share a new series of children’s books that promote attitudes of inclusion. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their best practices around removing barriers for people with disabilities in their communities.
Outcomes:
Build attendees knowledge of Ontario’s approach to accessibility. Inspire attendees to go above and beyond accessibility requirements in order to create more inclusive communities.
