Automation is increasing and technological unemployment is approaching. Jobs will be lost to self-driving trucks and robot salespeople. What will libraries look like in this future? How can we prepare our libraries, our staff, and our space to meet the oncoming demand?

The session will provide background information on technological unemployment and put forward a loose theory and strategy for libraries to implement before the shift takes place.
