Description:

Graphic Medicine is the intersection between graphic novels and health care. This session will explain the genre of Graphic Medicine, showcase some of the key titles, explain how healthcare staff can integrate it into their practice, and highlight how a hospital library can build and promote this type of collection.

Outcomes:
Assess the journal literature on graphic medicines;
Review the history of graphic medicine and key titles in the genre;
Discover how to create, manage and market non-traditional collections.
