Learn about a six-part unit that invites Pre JK students and their caregivers to story time sessions in the library. Well share the resources and activities we use to help children become more comfortable in the school environment. Gain the tips and tricks weve learned to make each session successful.
Outcomes:
Participants will learn about a fun, engaging and successful series of storytime sessions to help students and their families become comfortable in the school environment as they start Kindergarten.
Participants will leave our session with:
– A complete 6 part unit of engaging storytime sessions
– Handouts (in several languages) for families to reinforce the learning at home
– Tips and tricks for implementing a successful Pre JK storytime in your library
