This session is designed to review what inquiry-based learning is, how to get it started, how to integrate assessment and evaluation, and how to go deeper with it. A professional learning module for teachers, implemented at David and Mary Thomson CI specifically for these purposes, will be explored and shared.
Outcomes:
Participants will experience a variety of inquiry-based learning (IBL) strategies to implement in their classroom. They will also leave with the tools and resources for how to professionally develop themselves and colleagues in integrating IBL into their teaching and learning.
