Empathy is a vital part of library work but it can also be emotionally draining and working in public service roles can take a toll. This presentation will highlight the importance of work-life balance on an individual and organizational level with a focus on mindfulness and stress reduction techniques.
Outcomes:
Participants will learn strategies for developing better work-life balance practices on both an individual and organizational level. Participants will increase their knowledge of mental health and wellness related health and safety practices.
