The term social justice in information literacy is a somewhat novel or under-used one, the session will primarily focus on defining and fitting the term into information literacy and applying a social justice lens towards information literacy teaching and particularly within the new ACRL information literacy framework.
Outcomes:
1- Articulate the various aspects of social justice in information literacy teaching
2- Suggest possible courses of action in the practice of information literacy
