Description:

Learn about universally available, free coding apps (Scratch and Scratch Jr.), and how to link them to Social Studies, Language, Science, Math and more. Discover how Teacher Librarians can take the lead in implementing a School Wide Coding Continuum while promoting global competencies including communication, critical thinking, creativity and collaboration.

Outcomes:
Our goal is for participants to challenge their own views on the value of coding and to create a vision for implementing a coding continuum at their schools.
