Description:

The power of story is at the centre of a social justice-based library learning commons. We can change the narrative around First Nations, Metis, Inuit peoples on the land we now call Canada. Through inquiry, students and staff can develop a deeper understanding of cultural genocide and potential for reconciliation.

Outcomes:
To empower teacher librarians to confidently use a social justice lens to build a collection that will support inquiry and change the narrative around First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples.
