When: Friday, Feb 02 | 9:00 am - 9:40 am

Location: ICTC - Oakville

Days: Friday. Event Types: Session. Sectors: Academic. Subjects: Diversity and Public Service.

Description:

Libraries have been found to be a strong predictor of student success, and it can be challenging to support an increasingly diverse student population, particularly if library staffing does not reflect the population. This session is intended to present tools to improve inclusive services for students from every background.

Outcomes:
Goals for this session include sharing tools and techniques that library staff can use to improve services for a diverse student population, and beginning conversations around strategic frameworks that can be used by other institutions in their efforts around diversity, inclusion, and internationalization.
