Description:

Discover some of the ways the Vaughan Public Libraries create and implement STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) specific children’s programming. Topics include: the STEAM space, STEAM club and STEAM story-time, merging STEAM programming with more traditional youth programming, and STEAM programming for the homeschool community.

Outcomes:
simple ways to implement STEAM programming, the means to creatively utilize established maker technology (i.e., 3D printer) in new ways
