Description:

In an era when library value is closely tied to outcome measures, health libraries often struggle to identify objective criteria to justify services and collections. Program accreditation documents are tools we can use to ground our arguments regarding information resources and services and guide library assessment and strategic planning.

Outcomes:
Participants will gain an understanding of accreditation standards for health professional programs in Canada and learn how to relate this knowledge to the ways health libraries support accreditation standards.
