The Architectural tour focuses on the inspiration behind the architectural features of the Aga Khan Museum building, designed by Fumihiko Maki, and particularly how the idea of light is represented throughout the Museum.
The Museum features both traditional and contemporary elements of Islamic architecture, and this tour will highlight the juxtaposition between the two in the Museum Atrium, Bellerive Room, and the Permanent Collection.
