Location: MTCC 203A

Days: Thursday. Event Types: Session. Sectors: School Libraries. Subjects: Collaboration, Education, and Writing.

Description:

Inspiration and motivation is amplified by having authors in the classroom to work directly with students on the creation, editing and production of a short story. This workshop is based on this experience and classroom potential, as students get the opportunity to develop a one-on-one relationship with an author as they work.

Outcomes:
– Hear from a teacher who has gone through the process of implementing an author workshop and from two authors who ran a workshop.
– Learn about the benefits of this teaching style and to ask questions regarding possibilities.
