Natalya Rattan is an archivist at the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library. She works primarily with the Fisher’s collection of personal papers including those from writers, agents, editors and small literary presses; all of which have a strong focus on Toronto. Her duties involve processing archival collections in all formats (textual and non-textual), creating web-based finding aids, reference services and occasional teaching. Over the past few years she has become increasingly interested in digital forensics and its application to archives that are being faced with recovering and preserving born-digital content.
