Kirsten Wurmann has been branch head at the Winnipeg Public Library since September 2011. Before moving to Winnipeg, she spent 8 years as librarian with the Legal Resource Centre, a public legal education organization in Edmonton, Alberta. Kirsten is passionate about social justice and creating access to information for all. To that end, she also chairs the Manitoba Library Association’s prison libraries committee, and is the moderator of the Canadian Library Association Prison Library Network.
