Kat Mototsune has been editing books for more than 25 years, and is a former editor of Chickadee magazine. Her work has included award-winning nonfiction and fiction for kids, academic publications, textbooks at all levels, and professional development books for teachers. Kat grew up reading a lot of books about white boys, because that’s what mostly what there was, and she got involved in publishing to do something about that.
