A graduate of the University of Toronto iSchool (2013), Emily currently works as a Scrum Master for Rangle.io, a thriving Javascript development shop in downtown Toronto. After several contracts in the library world, she jumped ship into web development and couldn’t be happier. She credits her library school experience for her quick rise to management, and thinks librarians are uniquely suited to development and the Agile project management field. She’s passionate about getting more women into technology, leading Rangle’s new Women in Software initiative, and serves as a lead instructor at Ladies Learning Code in her off hours.
