Bob Jackson, Ryerson Library’’s former Head of Facilities and Projects, has participated in several of the Library’’s initiatives to enhance student learning through building design. These initiatives include the development of the Ronald D. Besse Information and Learning Commons, major renovations to the Library’’s fourth floor, and most recently the construction of the Student Learning Centre (SLC). He is currently engaged in planning to the consolidate the Library’’s Archives and Special Collections units in a single location and in developing plans to relocate the Library’’s Information Technology Services group to an area adjacent to the SLC.
