Ben Shaw is a Virtual Services Librarian with Markham Public Library (MPL), where he provides training and service to the public and staff. He holds a Master of Information degree from the University of Toronto (2015) and has worked in Libraries, Archives, and Museums since 2010.
Ben strongly believes in the importance of continuing education, and has focused on creating an environment of lifelong learning at MPL. With a primary focus on technology in public service, Ben has worked with management and staff to develop learning models that encourage self-direction and peer learning.
