Andrew Porteus works at Niagara Falls Public Library as Manager, Information Resources & Connections. He has served on both the Fort Erie Public Library Board and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library Board, and has been chair of each. He is currently a Councillor with the Ontario Library Boards Association. He has been involved in the production of a number of books, as author, photographer, indexer, and researcher. He started his library career as a Library Technician in the mid 1970s, active in the Ontario Association of Library Technicians and has been involved in libraries/literacy and other community activities ever since
