Ambreen graduated from UofTs iSchool in 2012, and is the recipient of the Margaret Canning Public Librarianship Prize. She is currently Acting Senior Librarian at Churchill Meadows Branch Library in Mississauga, and also serves as a member of Mississauga Library Systems Newcomer Steering Team. She authored a report analyzing existing newcomer services within Mississauga Library System and beyond. Many of the recommendations included in her report have been implemented across the system. Ambreen is passionate about newcomer services and has coordinated programs, and built partnerships with various organizations promoting services to newcomers.
