Ab. Velasco is the Project Leader of Digital Content and Innovation at Toronto Public Library (TPL). He is also Co-Chair of TPL Pride Alliance, a volunteer-run employee resource group consisting of LGBTQ staff and allies. Ab. is proud of the Alliance’s achievements to date, including marching in World Pride and launching the Positive Space Program. Ab. is also an active volunteer. His recent volunteer experience includes five years with the Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film and Video Festival in various roles that included Board of Directors member and Chair of the Marketing Committee.
