Every organization experiences crises or critical incidents, especially when providing a public service. The crisis can be very time limited and largely forgetable, or life altering. Regardless, every crisis is an opprtunity that given some proactive planning and a clear strategy can strengthen an organizations reputation. Without that strategy, however, the crisis has the potential of causing reputational damage.
