Kelly has been Chief Librarian at the Renfrew Public Library since April 2015; prior to that she was Acting CEO, then CEO at the Petawawa Public Library. Her career began many moons ago when, in the 3rd year of her undergrad degree in English literature, she decided that being a teacher wasn’t for her. She landed a summer position at the same library she now manages and the rest is history. She has worked as Children’s librarian, circulation and reference, audiovisual collections, and everything in between. She loves her job as much today as she did over 20 years ago and is a huge advocate for rural public libraries.
