Originally from Tennessee, Brooke obtained an M.S. in Instruction and Curriculum with specialization in school library media from the University of Memphis. She later added an M.I. from the University of Toronto that was focused in the Library and Information Science stream. Her practical experience in libraries ranges from being a page to a youth programmer and later a reference librarian. Currently, she works at the Cambridge Idea Exchange as an Information Specialist who creates a variety of programs as well as makerspaces for both teens and adults.
