Creating connections during community shifts: a Regent Park case study. As Regent Park continues to be revitalized, we will discuss how libraries and non-profit organizations can work together. The Children’s Book Bank and Toronto Public Library’s Parliament St. Branch work physically side-by-side promoting children’s literacy in local low-income communities. We will highlight how libraries and non-profit organizations can work together to align goals and promote each other’s services, and provide strategies and lessons for collaboration that can be applied to other communities.
