Lindsay Timmins is the Director of Operations and Librarian at The Children’s Book Bank; a registered charity encouraging childhood literacy by providing free books and literacy support to children in low-income neighborhoods in Toronto. She is responsible for literacy programming, merchandising, social media, donor relations, community partnerships and outreach. Lindsay also manages the Book Bank’s newest program, Building Babies Brains (B3); a partnership with local medical clinics providing literacy training to health practitioners and books for families, with the goal of fostering a love of reading right from the start. Lindsay has a passion for graphic novels, super silly story-times and above all, making reading fun.
