Twyla entered the library field at the age of 14 when her high school librarian discovered that her overdue fines were so high, she’d never be able to pay them off unless she worked them off during the summer. After three years of summer inventory, she was promoted to library page. After university, she began working for the Region of Waterloo library as an assistant, and is currently the Branch Supervisor for the Wellesley township libraries. She was involved in the floating project from the start.
